I got medium soft with a custom dark roast shaft and I’m not sure if it’s just how the tip plays, I got the wrong tip, or it was old or something but it felt hard. The hit was hard, it sounded hard and played hard. Tho I will say this, I play with a lot of spin and use the extreme edges of the cue ball and I the only miscues I had (2) where because of my strike and the tip. It grips good but the hard feel wasn’t for me.
